Taking Care of Our Youth

Welcome the Firehouse-our new Youth house
Thank you to St. Luke's for their wonderful donation to the community. After months of hard work by local friends, parents, kids and community organizations the Firehouse is ready for its new grand opening.

firehouse.jpgThe Firehouse will be a safe hangout for our local youth. For now the Firehouse will be available to high school kids on Tuesday 6pm-9pm. The goal is to have the firehouse open 5 days a week 3-6 for middle school and 6-9 for high school kids. The firehouse has a rec. room with a pool table, fooseball and pinball machine. The main gathering room has plenty of chairs, couches and tables. In addition there is a private counseling room and homework room.

The Firehouse will have adult supervision at all times and will be looking to the community for volunteers to keep our kids safe.

Our community does have a voice. Where does the community stand? How will the tunnel effect our Foothill communities?
