7 New Street Lights Proposed for Rosemont Avenue in front of Rosemont Middle School
Street_lights.jpg
In 2008 a petition to request the installation of street lights on Rosemont Avenue in front of Rosemont Middle School up to Los Amigos Avenue. In addition a petition to add a street light behind Rosemont Middle School on Raymond Avenue was circulated as well.

A $10.00 a year parcel tax will be asessed to the owners of the properties those being GUSD and CV Water District.
The recommendation to LA County Supervisors is to install 7 lights on Rosemont on the West side of Rosemont from the South end of the GUSD property up to Los Amigos.
One light is reccomended for the rear side of the GUSD property at Stevens and Raymond.

Will the lights on Rosemont be an asset to the community and to the surrounding property owners.
Please let us know how you feel by taking our survey on the top right side of our site.

County will be implementing a Non-Exclusive Commercial Solid Waste Collection
Why change the current waste commercial collection system in the unincorporated Los Angeles County areas?

The open-market system has been unable to meet demands due to changes in Federal and State laws, public attitudes towards protecting the environment, and customers’ desire for enhanced recycling and collection services.

Pursuant to State law, the County must implement a mandatory commercial recycling and waste reduction program by July 1, 2012 due to diminishing space in landfills and growing environmental concerns.

Learn more about the upcoming changes:
